Egyptian Dance Film Night and Interactive Lecture
Time: 6.30pm till 9.30pm

Content : 'Where Are We Going?' Yasmina will show video clips and lead a discussion on the past, present, and future direction of Egyptian Dance, with reference to technique, but also the role of the dance in a wider context – be there!
Nibblies and Refreshments provided.
Bring: Cushion. (Some chairs and cushions will be supplied as well)

Master Class in Egyptian Dance, "Yasmina style!"

Description: Expand your understanding on different levels, first with combinations and power drills for strengthening Egyptian technique (video permitted), followed by 'Musicality in Classical Egyptian style', a choreography with emphasis on phrasing and understanding of lyrics. (Intermediate to advanced).
